Although what I do shouldn’t necessarily be considered “ethical chiropractic” as it’s just chiropractic, it’s worth mentioning that most chiropractors are honest and exemplary health providers. Still, unfortunetly there is a minority of chiropractors who use particularly unethical and dishonest practices. They typically use the same “modus operandi”, so with some due diligence you can hopefully avoid the “bad apples” and experience the full benefit of chiropractic treatment.

Pain is complex and often influenced by various factors such as physical, lifestyle, and emotional aspects, it’s almost impossible to effectively treat long-term pain in 10 minutes for most pain sufferers, this is why they will often need treatment multiple times a week or regularly for months. They will usually make very misleading claims about their treatment, such as being able to realign spines, fix posture, restore neck curves, etc.., most people would be hesitant to pay $80-$90 for a 10-minute treatment that at best offers the placebo effect in regards to alignment or posture and who’s pain may have gone away on its own after 2 or 3 months without treatment.

Kieran has a 3-treatment policy, if you are not well on the way to recovery by the 3rd visit he will discuss with you, your progress and the potential of referring you to another provider with a different set of skills or a GP for further investigations. Kieran does not use x-rays, makes misleading claims about his treatment, and doesn’t try to get you to sign up for long-term “corrective care” or “rehab programs”.
